Subject: Phantom pregnancy after Alizin???
Content: My dog had her 2nd Alizin injection 6 weeks ago and is still showing signs of being pregnant. Her vulva is still swollen and she started producing milk yesterday. She is only 10 months old and I am so worried for her!! She has also had some brown odourless discharge and I have read that discharge is normal during pregnancy as long as it's not yellow or smelly. I thought the Alizin was supposed to get rid of the hormones and all that which goes with being pregnant? She had an ultrasound 3 weeks ago and the vet said he couldn't see any puppies but he wasn't going to tell me she wasn't pregnant as sometimes you can't see the puppies.
