Blog Entry: I have been having such a bad time being a first time mum, it was all nice and lovely and then I was having trouble feeding my babies. I didn't want to eat, drink or be around anyone I just wanted to hide behind the couch out of site of the world. My nipples are sooooo.... sore my babies were trying to feed but because I haven't been making enough milk and I made it worse by not eating or drinking but I can't keep anything down Mum and Dad went to the vet and they were given some yukky calcium syrup to feed to me and also some puppy formula and bottles to help me with feeding my babies, this gives me a little break. I am still not feeling well and don't feel like eating or drinking anything even if Mum has tried to give me cat biscuits I even don't want them. Dad has been hand feeding me yoghurt, chicken rice, lamb anything he thinks I will like he gets so worried and because I am not drinking enough he is so patient and he actually is syringing water or milk into my mouth to make me lap at it, so I will get some fluids into me. My babies were born big (so the vet said) and I don't seem to be producing enough milk. Mum and Dad were also told to place a cold pack on my nipples and then a warm water bottle on them alternatively and by gezz is that an experience, but it has been working. I am so tired and my stomach is not doing very good I don't seem to be able to keep anything down but I am trying. Well I had better go and get some rest Mum is going to feed my babies before she goes to bed I like to watch that she does it right. Hopefully I will be feeling better to have some cat biscuits soon.
