What?!? You mean I'm not already famous? I am a Bonsai Kelpie! Yes, you read right, a Bonsai Kelpie. I am a runt, and my growth was probably also stunted by my first owner at the farm who had me since I was born up until (so they said) 8 months, by them not loving or feeding me because I was the runt. Large cats make me look short (they really do!)

My friend Shay who I live with. She is an American Pittbull, and even though she is bigger than me, I'm the boss at our place (so I like to think, buts that's just between you and I). She is on here, but she hasn't yet replied to my friend invitation. I guess she is too busy sleeping. She likes doing that.
Anyway, I like sunbathing, and 'cos I'm black, I get so warm in the sun! I also like arguing with the dogs through the back fence, even though my Mistress tells me off. I like all sorts of attention, and cuddles, and food! I enjoy long walks and having a bit of rough and tumble with Shay or the humans!
I am getting along much better with the little child, who is about one and a half years old. She likes to give me pats, and treats (YUM!), so I don't mind her so much anymore. But Mum tells me there is another one coming, so I will have to be good for even longer!

I don't really like being inside for too long. Hey, I'm a country boy, and being inside is just too cushy sometimes. Yes, too cushy. I have been known to get off the soft bed to lay on the bare timber floors many a time.
I don't much like going swimming either. Last time Mum took me for a walk and it was really hot, she threw me into the creek (several times!). After the second time, I didn't mind it too much actually, 'cos then I would try and shake the water all over Mum and the pram!

Sunbathing on my back, and listening whenever there is someone around. I'm the first to tell my Mistress (and anybody else who will listen) that there's somebody about! Even if it is just a bird. Can't be too careful here in the big smoke!
Also great at just doing nothing.
My latest 'great at thing'... Barking at the dogs over the back fence and getting into trouble for it. It took Mum AGES to figure out it was me (hee hee hee), she thought it was the neighbour's dog!

My favourite food is anything I can get into my gob! I may be little (so my Mistress tells me), but I have a big mouth and stomach to make up for it!
I do love bones though, frozen ones on a hot day, and chicken frames from my Grandma.

I don't like chasing the ball or a stick. Well, I'll chase them, tag them with my nose, but don't expect me to bring them back to you! I think I might enjoy chasing sheep though. Not sure why....

Well, as I said, I'm a bit vertically challenged, but I have the most striking bright eyes. My Mistress tells me they were the first thing she noticed about me when she came to rescue me from the farm where I was born.
I think that is about all there is to say about little 'ole me. Oh yeah, me and the kid share the same birthday! How neat is that! Of course, there is a couple of years difference (I'm older), but Mum reckons by her calculations that my birthday is probably around then, so we both get to share the same date!
