6 weeks to xmas is very scary. We have not done a thing yet. I will be spending xmas at home this year. Last year I flew to Brisbane when I was only 6 months old and spent xmas with my pug cousings Hugo & Lilly. It will be great to stay at home though & have mum all to myself, oh apart from Hariet of course

You must live somewhere really cool to have roos and bunnies! I wish I had something fun like that to chase.
That's good that you both do agility and flyball. Dog sports are lots of fun especially for us energetic doggies!
Sometimes I like to herd things too. I like little white doggies that look like sheep, they are fun.

I've met a couple of mean dogs at flyball too. I like to think I'm tough though and stand up for myself, but my mum is a big worry wart! I can take care of myself though.
That's no good that your friend got attacked.
But hopefully you will still go along to flyball if you find it fun.

OOps. Forgot to tell you the Hip and Joint tablets are called just that. They are made by Aristopet, Which is based in Queensland. You should be able to get them from any Pet supply store.  They have Glucosomine and shark cartliage in them.

Hey guys.  It is Kristians Mum here. He has been so obliging to let me answer your questions.  Hopefully the Therapist that woked on Tully is trained in Animal manipulation as there is a vast difference between the human anatomy and that of a dog.  I don't really like the idea of twisting with a dog.  One it is not a feeling the dog understands and will react to it.  The jumping and twisting does put pressure on the spine and hips.  I would ask the vet about it and they may know of someone trained in that field. Massaging at the base of the spine and near the base of the tail will help. Also if it is cold weather put a heated wheat bag under the bedding.  Although Kristian is only 2 and half I give him hip and joint tablets every so often I give him half tablet every day for 6 weeks then leave it for a month or so. He has a loose knee muscle and throws it out. Typical of the breed.  Also running in beach sand strengthens muscles which would be beneficial. There are muscle relaxants you can get which can be used on dogs. There is one called Ice Gel that you can get from the chemist. Just gently massage it on to the spine and that will help. Also massaging with a little Lavender Oil (Kristians fav.) and Sandalwood.  Hope this helps.
